"When the basis for your actions is inner alignment with the present moment, your actions become empowered by the intelligence of Life itself."
~A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

So many of you are reading the book by Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth and tuning in to Oprah's online workshop with him on Monday evenings. There are more than 3 million people finding out about this book, which is inspiring many to change their minds about who they truly are and awaken to a conscious way of living. I feel the excitement of the shift that is happening for many on the planet right now and I encourage you to pick up the book for yourself if you haven't already done so.
The thoughts and the ideas of this book are not new, for there have been teachers and enlightened beings who have shared these truths with us in many different ways. Jesus is one of the teachers who walked on this earth to show us the way to live heaven on earth. The critical mass can be reached when enough people choose to shift their perceptions and embody the awakened consciousness. These are the times that are upon us right here and right now. We have the opportunity to choose in every moment this way of living within our own mind. Let us hear these words echo inside our heads that Eckhart reminds us of. Let us humble ourselves as we take responsibility to observe our own resistance inside by being with what happens outside of us without judgment. Can we accept what life is bringing us and be fully present with our own self-expression? Can we look into the faces of our world and receive the gift of who we are individually?
Our lives are a tapestry of light and dark. It is ever-changing and fully giving us all the opportunities to embrace the aspects of our own humanity. Our feelings, our thoughts, our behaviors continue to bring us deeply into each moment if we cannot be distracted by the world outside of us. Let it all weave together to create more understanding to who we truly are. To bring peace to the world is to reach deep inside of ourselves and accept where we are. To find the peace beyond our understanding and receive the life giving energy that is inside. It is here for each of us to touch as we can be fully here. It is living these words that can inspire or be modeled to help the world return back to it's true nature. The way is through the heart. The journey begins with each of us individually. Almost any book I am picking up these days are validations of this purpose that I feel is in the heart of all of us. I hear it wherever I go. I see it in the simple moments of any day. I see it and I feel it because it is my desire to connect to it from the inside to the outside. Every part of these precious days that make up our lives, are opportunities to bring forth more life. This life is living through us and with our connection to it in every moment we become active participants in the creation of what our souls long for. A place to be authentic and real. A place where we can feel the beauty of our own existence and join with others as the love is shared easily, inspiring and uplifting the true nature of being here now in these bodies.
Months ago I had a dream where I was sleeping in my daughter's bedroom in Hollywood, California and I was woken up by my son saying "mom, do you want to have breakfast with me before I have to leave for work?" His voice was ringing inside of me when I woke up. I felt as if I were there, in their apartment. I heard him calling or I could say, I heard my soul calling me to listen inside. I missed my kids and I wanted to be with them. There was no question in my mind or hesitation. I would follow my heart and make the plans. Of course it all fell into place easily when I listened to Spirit.
Just a few weeks ago I made the trip to visit my children, Luke and Lane. I was feeling the excitement as I was waiting at the gate to board the plane. I love the feeling of just being in the moment, taking in the sights around me as I receive it like I am drinking in the fragrance of a gardenia. Moments like this seem to be so full of aliveness. I glance over at the painting on the wall just inches away from me revealing the history of Sarasota's Ringling Circus. There before me, bigger than life is a face of a clown staring at me as I am pulled into my questioning mind, wondering what it was like to be one of those circus clowns performing at that time. It moved me into more thoughts as I saw how a picture spoke a thousand words in only a few moments. What was it like to grow up in the circus? Suddenly I noticed a woman beside me who was having a difficult time reading her boarding pass without her glasses. We exchanged some words and I smile inside at the comments she makes about her aging vision. Interrupted by the call to board the plane, I continued on my way to find my assigned seat on this small 50-passenger commuter plane. I become busy, trying to get comfortable as I ready myself to fulfill my plan to read my dear friend, Theresa Rose's recently completed manuscript, Opening the Kimono. I take out the manuscript that is neatly put into a binder with a picture of its cover on the front. It is a beautiful picture of a woman with a Japanese Kimono tastefully open in the front. The picture draws you in and it is very inviting as I open to the pages. I have 3 hours until this plane flight lands in Houston and I cannot wait any longer to finally read Theresa's writings. I am distracted by the person moving into the seat next to mine and I look up and see the familiar face that I met just moments ago at the gate. Of course it would be her! Life has continued to show me the perfect plan. We looked into each other’s eyes and acknowledged that we were happy to be sitting together.
I have traveled countless times on airplanes and I continuously meet people that in some way have been magically placed in that seat beside me as if it was booked and planned just for me. And in a way, it probably was if you believe that there is a divine plan. Even though they may be brief encounters in the bigger scheme of things, the meetings have touched me deeply and I feel an intimate connection for those precious moments of being in life with these souls. I know in my heart that God placed them there, in the seat beside me to show me that there is so much more to life than what it looks like to the physical eye. So, I value my travels and enjoy these experiences that show me time and time again how connected we all are and the angels we meet while we are flying across the country. We can feel at home where ever we are and meet soul family that change out lives forever. Or, we can be used to inspire and help another without ever really knowing how God used us as a vessel for healing the hearts of humanity. One moment of conscious connection. I love how God works ministering through our joining.
I go back to my plan of reading this manuscript and yet I could feel this woman looking at the cover of the binder, intrigued by what she was seeing and I could feel her wanting to connect. I gaze up at her and begin to tell her about what I am reading. She is happy to hear that it was not an advertisement for the opening of a Japanese restaurant and excited to hear a little background to what the book is about. Just by what she was saying, I knew that she was on a search for herself into uncovering her Spirit and we introduce ourselves as she shows me the book she was reading, The Secret. She begins to share how that book came into her life and our conversation flows like two old friends finally catching up on where we left off and soon the comfort of our meeting unfolds as easy as can be. Then Nancy begins to share a piece of her life. She describes what it was like to grow up as a clown in the Ringling Circus world. Is this a coincidence or what? As she is sharing this part of her life I recall the moment that I was staring into the eyes of the painted circus clown. It felt surreal and my questions were now being answered. I was so intrigued by everything she was telling me. I opened to sharing about myself and reached into my carry-on and gave her the book I have written. She took the book and began reading it as I went back to the pages that I was open to in my lap. I was deep into Theresa's intimate sharing of her life's biggest challenges when I could hear Nancy sniffling beside me with Kleenex in her hands. I am distracted from my reading once again and seeing her wiping the tears that are rolling down her face. I put my hand on her arm as I sat in silence. This was quite a moment for me. To be with someone who does not really know me as they are reading the words I have written years ago. I have forgotten those words that moved through me and healed my heart and now they are being read again. I am observing the feelings that are coming up inside of me. She apologizes for crying and I reassure her that she was actually giving me a first.
For the rest of the flight we shared and the relationship continued to grow. To be so real and unafraid to speak from the heart. It was fun and the time went by like minutes. Then Nancy started to share about how interconnected we all are and she stopped and in midstream asked if I knew a woman named Marion Larsen. This was another aha moment. This woman who she mentioned had just finished doing a series of counseling sessions with me and I used her testimony on my new brochure.
We are all so connected and when we are present and awake in the moment it all shows itself to us as life weaves together without much effort at all. These moments bring it all home for us and can inspire us to see the bigger plan that is so divinely orchestrated without being in control and allowing life to show up as it is.
Walking through the airport I had a feeling of aliveness as I glanced at my new friend that I knew I would see again. We hugged and appreciated the gift given and received.
We are here to see God in everyone and help everyone see God in themselves. I board the next flight to L.A. and I am seated beside a Japanese student. I say hello and realize she does not speak English. I take this as the perfect opportunity to devour with great anticipation, Theresa's chapters. The pages of her manuscript turn quickly as I listen deeply to the words she writes with simple yet profound honesty. As I am reading I love the feeling of knowing that we are all so alike in some ways and how I can grow when I am receiving the gifts that another shares. I finish the last words and close the binder, breathing into my heart. It felt like I had just opened the book. The time went by like minutes, as I was engrossed in every word on the white pages of her manuscript. Her feelings and ideas jumped off the pages into my life. I felt more alive. I am touched by another person's story that will inspire and bring about change on this planet. I felt a lot of gratitude as I finished Theresa's book and recalled the moment that I had released my book into the world. I am touched that she wanted me to be one of the first to read it.
There are so many teachers that are inspiring us all to awaken now to the way we can live our lives through awareness. To help us remember that we have a choice in every moment to empower ourselves or others to live true to our hearts. These creative people have a purpose in life to help others to realize who they truly are. To help them to feel loved and inspired to become more through their giving. What do all of these teachers have in common? Jesus says it the best when he said, " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." To live these ordinary lives listening and expressing through our open hearts and create ourselves anew right now.
We must all understand that the mission of God has already been accomplished. Life is complete already. All we have to do is accept it as it is here right now and bring it into our own reality through each individual heart. Everything is energy and this energy is essence or presence. Everything is interconnected and "the act of creation is simply the act of tuning into the vibration of that which already exists in All of Everything, which attunement draws it to you. You are not really "creating" anything, but merely noticing that it has already been created, and magnetizing it - or attracting it." Happier Than God by Neal Donald Walsch
To learn our Soul's lessons, we must choose to be here in the world. To use everything in life as a spiritual path. This is what Ram Dass speaks of in his book Still here. To honor your Ego as the conduit of learning for the Soul. The body is our precious temple and life has taught me to be conscious of it and as I honor it, I can make choices to respect all life.

This precious peace always here, fully being,
Everything that you are, nothing more, nothing less, creating beauty,
This is what is true and it is not separate from you giving life fully in recieving.
This is what the light does speak in the silent corners of your heart.
Listen deeply.
Come here to these moments.
Come here to what is true for it will arise within you,
Like any new day that comes, it will always come to awaken you.
Let go of that moment before, believing you know what it is coming.
Let go my precious child, for what is here right now feeds your soul.
Every moment becomes the one that you have received.
Now fully giving, moving on and on, deeper in every moment.
You find yourself sitting with your beloved communing,
Drinking in the beauty of life that has always been.
Your heart does hear the truth that awakens you to another way to see this world.
Listen as you breathe this life that gives and gives and gives.
Notice that which was promised, that which is promised, that which is promising more life.
Nothing has died, all is changing.
That which is the same will never die, it is eternal life,
Life that gives and gives and gives without asking for anything.
Receive it, for when you do, the heart of humanity remembers.
For one holy moment the world returns to become what it came here to be.
The place within you that reflects this heaven that is creating more life,
More love, more peace, more joy.
Celebrate that which is given.
Let go of any anticipation or expectation, for in the moment now, life is everything it can be.
The joining of one heart with another.
Here there is no longing,
There is more love in remembering that it is right here in being.
For life shows you the sweetness of this gift, without being anything,
Unveiled for all to see this presence.
It is seeing beyond the physical yet seeing every part of this physical world.
It begins inside yourself.
The one that has joined, the one that stays, the one that sustains this life
giving energy by choosing to connect.
By choosing to be the connection of all that is here moving through every heart.
It is here, eternal and full of life.
Spread the joy like a blanket of daisies over the earth and let it be a prayer that lives
in the heart for all humanity.
Namaste
